Bloggin’ in Bulgaria: Day 4

Today was an all-business day in Bulgaria.  The staff of C.I.E. were frantically getting ready for tomorrow big conference; moving packages, testing technology and readying presentations.  With approximately 400 attendees, mostly educators, it’s an important day in the life of C.I.E because educators are primarily who they work with.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the day, Lasha spent her time preparing for tomorrow’s presentation, while I went with Zdrava, C.I.E’s Communications and Partnerships Coordinator, to meet Dimitar for an interview with a television station.  The interview seemed to go well, with my 2-3 minutes going for over 20 minutes.

The rest of our day was less inspiring as Darrell and Lasha took off to the hospital as Darrell struggled with a suspected sinus infection.  Unfortunately, Darrell wasn’t able to see a doctor but was able to book himself into an appointment later in the week.  The rest of the day was spent preparing for the presentation. Tomorrow is the big day!
