Introduction
The Seven Oaks Project is a fee-for-service education and career learning project. Career Trek designed and runs this program in partnership with Seven Oaks School Division.
The after-school program engages participants in Grade 5 and 6. They explore professions through hands-on learning.
Sixty participants from Elwick School, O.V. Jewitt School, and École Leila North will experience hands-on career lessons, learn about themselves, and develop the essential skills necessary for success in the future job market.
The project focuses on career education. Participants discover and explore their likes, dislikes, and skills. They begin to understand the relevance of their studies, grasp educational opportunities, and chart their future career paths.
