The Seven Oaks Project is a fee for service education and career development project designed and run by Career Trek Inc. for the Seven Oaks School Division.
Delivered in partnership, this after-school project exposes participants in grades 5 and 6 to as many as 24 occupations and professions as possible.
60 participants from Elwick School, O.V. Jewitt School, and École Leila North will experience hands-on career lessons, learn about themselves, and develop the essential skills necessary for success in the 21st Century job market.
The project is infused with a career development focus that helps participants discover and explore their likes, dislikes, and skills helping them understand the relevance of their studies, grasp educational opportunities, and chart their future career paths.
