Jody-Kay Thompson
Jody-Kay Thompson, M.Ed, is an educator, program coordinator, and counsellor dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through education, career development, and personal growth. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Brandon University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Guidance and Counselling and a Diploma in Secondary Education from The Mico University College in Jamaica.
Currently serving as Program Coordinator in the Continuing Studies Department at Assiniboine College, she oversees community-based training programs, supports student success initiatives, and collaborates with community and Indigenous partners to expand educational opportunities. With extensive experience as a school counsellor, youth services coordinator, lecturer, and career development professional, Jody-Kay has supported youth and adults in academic planning, emotional wellness, and career readiness.
A dynamic speaker, she brings practical insight and compassion to topics including youth development, career readiness, emotional wellness, leadership, and personal transformation.
