Career Trek graduates complete high school at higher rates than provincial averages. They complete post-secondary at higher rates than their peers, too.
- Participants have an 89% rate of high school completion. (Figueiredo, Career Trek Research Report, 2020)
- 86% of Career Trek participants have moved on to postsecondary education, in which
- 62% enrolled directly after high school graduation, and
- 24% took time off between high school and post-secondary education. (Figueiredo, Career Trek Research Report, 2020)

Donate To A Scholarship Fund
The fund will provide financial support for:
- Female, female-identifying, or non-binary graduate of any of Career Trek’s programs, in any of its Regions, a
- Person must be pursuing life-long learning or post-secondary education in any recognized program in the field of human services or animal services - those who are interested in helping professions that aim to support, care for, or protect individuals or animals.
All gifts to this fund will be pooled and invested with the generated income distributed as scholarships. As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit scholarship recipients in perpetuity.
Support the Gord Hannon Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Gord Hannon Memorial Scholarhsip was established in honor of Gord Hannon, one of Career Trek’s founding and longest standing
Board members.
The Gord Hannon Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually.
The scholarship will be given to a person who identifies as:
- Female
- Resident in Manitoba
- Working to overcome barriers to education as a result of systems and actions that have led to poverty or oppression, or are the result of colonization, racism, discrimination or inequities.
Funds through the scholarship can be used to cover costs associated with attending a training program, Adult Learning Centre or post-secondary institution such as tuition fees, books, childcare, bus pass, or lab fees. The recipient will need to provide proof of acceptance or confirmation of enrollment in a program.
